Do you love yourself?
I view self love as an inner (energetic & emotional) and an outer (physical & material) process.
Seeing this from the physical perspective involves acts where you provide care, and focus towards maintenance to nourish and nurture the physical vessel. We can identify these self love practices as something as simple as brushing teeth, going to the gym, dressing well and eating a balanced and healthy diet. This is well known and established within society, pushed forward through media and advertising and is linked into a system of consumerism.
The healthcare systems also work with the major focus from this physical perspective. Seeing the body is a machine and you must put the right things in, get the right things out and if a part stops working, chop it out.
I am not denying this at all. I love nourishing myself with new clothes, good food and exercise. I know how many lives have been saved with surgery, chemotherapy and pharmacology. I have been directly involved in these processes and seen their benefit.
BUT
I have been directly involved in the inner transformational process also.
When we see the whole picture and we shift our focus to both the inner and the outer worlds we can shift a lot in a very short space of time.
Loving all aspects of you involves providing time and space for the things that you feel uncomfortable facing. They are a part of you. Rejecting and blocking them out is rejecting yourself. When you face these blocks you access more of your greatness.
You can love your mind and your body and love all of the uncomfortable emotions. And on the other side of this is more of YOU. A more compassionate, kind, generous, caring, confident YOU.
I would love to support you on this journey.
